This Privacy Policy contains all information relating to the processing carried out by CELLS IA TECHNOLOGIES S.L., (hereinafter, "CELLS IA") of the personal data collected through this Website in relation to the interaction each user has with CELLS IA, in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation.

For the purposes of this Policy, the following terms shall be understood as:

3. What personal data do we process?

CELLS IA processes the data provided by Users (hereinafter "User" or "Users" interchangeably) through the various forms and channels enabled on the website owned by CELLS IA for the purpose of responding to Users' requests, applications or queries, as well as data obtained while browsing. In any case, we will only process the personal data provided for the purposes indicated in this Privacy Policy.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all personal data requested in the forms enabled on the Website for data collection are mandatory as they are essential, and if you do not provide them we will not be able to handle your query or ensure the proper functioning of the Website. Therefore, Users must complete the fields marked as "mandatory" in the forms of the different Websites, as otherwise it may be impossible to provide the requested service or for the Website to function correctly.

In the event of providing third-party data, the User who provides such data warrants that it has been obtained and provided to CELLS IA after having been informed and authorised by the data subjects, in accordance with data protection regulations. 4. For what purpose do we process your personal data? What is the legal basis for the processing of personal data? 

CELLS IA will process Users' data for the following purposes: 

  • To allow access to the Website and its contents and functionalities. 
  • To manage and optimize the Website, as well as to preserve its security and integrity to ensure its proper functioning and the security of the network and information. 
  • To process and respond to Users' requests, applications, incidents or queries when they provide their data through the forms available for this purpose on the Website. Furthermore, a subsequent follow-up will be carried out and the information will be analysed for statistical purposes. 

The legal basis for the processing of data is the legitimate interest of CELLS IA for all the purposes referred to above.

5. For how long will we process your personal data?

The retention period for your data will be determined based on the duration of your relationship with CELLS IA and the legally established periods. In this regard, the criteria used by CELLS IA to set the retention periods for your data have been determined in accordance with the requirements established in applicable legislation, regulations and regulatory guidelines, as well as the operational requirements of CELLS IA related to the management of your relationship with CELLS IA.

The personal data provided will be retained for as long as the User does not request their deletion. 

In particular, personal data collected for the purpose of handling a request, query, application or incident will be retained for the period necessary to resolve such requests, queries, applications and incidents and, once resolved, for the periods established by applicable legislation for the purpose of addressing possible claims.

Once the aforementioned periods have elapsed and all necessary actions have been taken to manage and resolve requests, queries, applications and incidents, personal data will be blocked and/or deleted in accordance with applicable regulations.

6. To whom will we disclose your personal data?

CELLS IA may disclose your personal data to Public Authorities, regulators or governmental bodies when required by applicable legislation.

Apart from the aforementioned data disclosures, CELLS IA works with certain external service providers who have access to your personal data and who process such data as a result of the provision of services.

CELLS IA follows strict criteria for selecting service providers in order to comply with its data protection obligations.

7. Are there international data transfers? 

CELLS IA may have third-party collaborators or service providers located outside the territory of the European Union. In such cases, CELLS IA will require such collaborators or providers to adopt the necessary technical and organisational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the personal data transferred.

Likewise, CELLS IA may transfer the personal data referred to herein to other companies of the ROVI Group where necessary for the purposes indicated above.

8. What are your rights when you provide us with your personal data?

Users may exercise their right of access to personal data, as well as request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where applicable, its deletion. They may also request the restriction, portability and objection to the processing of their data.

The User may exercise the aforementioned rights, under the terms provided by applicable legislation, by contacting CELLS IA, before the supervisory authority of the Member State of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, or via the email address protecciondedatos@rovi.es.

When deemed appropriate, especially in the event of not receiving a satisfactory response, you may lodge a complaint with CELLS IA, whose contact details have been provided at the beginning.
